Weekend Warehouse Supervisor

The Weekend Warehouse Supervisor coordinates the activities of workers responsible for the picking, packing, processing, and shipping of Amer sports products to our customers.

What you’ll do:

• Become the expert in all areas of the Amer Ogden DC.  This includes picking, packing, and shipping from the traditional select racking and the more automated Knapp shuttle system, Inbound process to the traditional racking and automation system, Returns processing, and inventory control processes.
• Manage a team of highly motivated individuals driven by the Amer core values of fair play and team work.
• Leverage people, processes and equipment to ensure accuracy and speed within the outbound delivery process.
• Effectively schedule people and equipment to the right areas to handle volume peaks and lows.
• Ensure all transactions are completed in SAP.
• Daily, monthly and quarterly reporting of the activities vs key performance indicator targets. 
• Coach and train employees on the end to end delivery processes.
• Work closely with the inbound and outbound inventory control teams to ensure accuracy, speed and safety.
• Assist in the scheduling and tracking of outbound deliveries.
• Value added services for our customers are a key component of the delivery process, ensure these services are done accurately and on-time vs the delivery schedules.
• Maintain and ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations tidy.
• Support team development, training, coaching and leadership.
• Comply with company and legislative health & safety procedures, rules and regulations.
• Work with minimal supervision.

The days being worked are Friday, Saturday, Sunday.  We are looking for someone to train during the week or afternoons and eventually move to Weekend shift.   

Weekend Shift hours are:

     Friday 600am-630pm

     Saturday 600am-630pm

     Sunday 600am-630pm

This role requires a HS Diploma or equivalent experience.  We are looking for an individual with 2-5 years of experience in warehouse distribution.  

Other qualifications include: 

• Experience as a Warehouse or Distribution Center Supervisor; 2-3 years experience
• Strong ability to communicate, delegate and follow up with your leadership team.
• Strong analytical skills
• Dedicated attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Progressive experience in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution operation
• Previous experience with warehouse automation technologies
• Experience in the sporting goods industry, specifically Apparel and Footwear
• Formal education or equivalent experience in warehouse operations, logistics or other related fields
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
• Basic business finance knowledge
• Knowledge of SAP WMS a plus
