What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a Sales Operating Analyst for our Atomic Team.  The Sales Operating Analyst will be responsible for the development, testing and implementation of reporting to inform and guide the business activities of the brand.  The individual will build and maintain various reports and investigate the most efficient and effective methods of delivering key information to individuals across the brand and organization.  The individual will manage various sales tools, maintain accurate and complete go to market materials and create and distribute sales programs and special offers.  The individual will also oversee the implementation of new tools and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization.

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

 

  • Become a proficient user of various sales reporting tools including Analysis for Office, Sales Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and SAP Web Reporting
  • Be proficient in various methods of distributing reporting including broadcasting, online tools and file sharing
  • Become a proficient user of Elastic Suite.  Manage the set up, user training and overall functionality of this tool for North America.
  • Build offline order forms in Elastic Suite
  • Create and customize tools and reports to track sales, targets, supply availability, spending, marketing activity, KPIs, etc
  • Effectively communicate actionable trends and sales opportunities to the sales team
  • Build and maintain great working relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Provide training to cross functional teams to support implementation of reporting best practices
  • Provide training to teammates on report development, maintenance of existing reporting and sales tools
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of new sales tools
  • Support to the creation and streamlining of sales programs, order forms, price lists, etc
  • Responsible for local cost updates in SAP for USA and Canada
  • Lead the process and cadence of discontinued merchandise offers
  • Effectively collaborate with individuals across the organization
  • Support additional organizational responsibilities as needed

What We're Looking For

This role prefers a Bachelor’s Degree; however, a combination of education and work experience will be considered.  We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales environment.  

 

  • Strong Business Acumen with some Finance Understanding
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales environment
  • Previous experience with advanced report development across a complex sales organization
  • Knowledge of the outdoor industry preferred
  • Solution oriented thinking: Ability to process and reconcile large amounts of data and recognize problems or opportunities based on that data and offer actionable solutions
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Excellent relationship and communication skills with great ability to work with all levels of the organization as well as external customers, vendors and business partners
  • Formal Presentation: Ability to present information clearly to large groups in person and in writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically with advanced Excel functions, including PowerPivot and advanced formulas
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and deliver key responsibilities on time
