ARC is looking for an Agency Services Specialist to join the team! As an Agency Services Specialist, you provide quality assurance of internal onboarding processes as it relates to the accreditation of agents to include performing secondary risk review, in-person and/or virtual interviews, business model and financial standards analysis, and final review for approval recommendations. In this role, you will travel to the agency location(s) as required to perform on-site operational audits. You will be asked to lead or assist in processing all incoming forms from ARC’s agency customers as they relate to the Accreditation process, including those that relate to the financial health of the Agent. Additionally, you will serve as a backup to all functions within the department. A high level of productivity and teamwork is required due to the high volume and transactional nature of the Accreditation team’s responsibilities.

What You'll Get to Do:

  1. Perform Secondary Risk review on agency applications examined by other analysts based on defined rules and processes. This will entail understanding and analyzing corporate structures, business models, utilize company SOP (underwriting) criteria to evaluate risks for ARC and make informed decisions on agency financial stability in line with ARCs financial standards, and identification of new and emerging risks within the industry.
  2. Lead and support the analysis and processing of all accreditation activities relating to the agency lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, ownership changes, agency profile update, financial analysis, affirmation, etc.).
  3. Plan, schedule and execute all types of accreditation visits, including new Travel Agent applicants, changes of Agency ownership and necessary operational audits.
  4. Perform custom reporting on department performance and in support of internal customer requests (e.g., billings to finance, affirmations, management reporting, etc.).
  5. Perform final review before approval of applications processed/reviewed by other analysts based on documented procedures.
  6. Serve as a backup to all functions within the department.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered
  • 5+ years of experience working in a high production operations, risk and/or underwriting environment. Travel industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of basic features of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) and CRM Software (ex. Salesforce)
  • Strong attention to detail an absolute must

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
