Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and Execute eCommerce Strategy
-. Analyze market trends, competitors, and consumer requirements to establish comprehensive eCommerce strategies.
-. Set mid-to-long-term performance goals (e.g., revenue growth, consumer acquisition, margin improvement) and create specific strategies to achieve them.
-. Set and review KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, and repurchase rate. Regularly analyze performance and suggest improvements.
-. Create budget plans for each online channel and marketing campaign and manage ROI.
2. Manage Online Channel & DTC Operations
-. Optimize operations for the company’s own website and various eCommerce channels(Coupang, Naver, Kakao, 11st etc.), developing tailored strategies focused primarily on DTC to improve sales performance on each platform.
-. Responsible for daily operations including product catalog updates, inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
-. Strengthen collaboration with external platforms, payment service providers, and logistics partners. Regularly review platform performance and propose improvements.
3. Develop Digital Marketing Strategies
-. Develop and implement SEO strategies for online stores and product pages, including keyword analysis and metadata optimization.
-. Manage and analyze performance of online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, GFA, Naver Ads, Kakao Moment, etc.), and retargeting campaigns.
-. Plan personalized email campaigns based on consumer segments. Use CRM data to tailor offers and implement retargeting strategies to improve consumer retention.
4. Data Analysis and Performance Management
-. Utilize data analysis tools on websites and eCommerce platforms to analyze traffic, conversion rates, and purchase paths.
-. Conduct A/B testing on various marketing strategies, pricing, promotions, and UX design to determine the most effective approaches.
-. Analyze consumer behavior such as cart abandonment rates and product CTR, and develop strategies based on these insights.
-. Compile performance reports based on data analysis and regularly present them to management and key stakeholders.
5. Key Account Management & Omni-Channel Collaboration
-. Strengthen relationships with key accounts, ensuring alignment between online and offline sales strategies.
-. Provide tailored solutions to key retail partners(fashion & sports: Musinsa, 29cm etc) based on market insights and business objectives.
-. Negotiate contracts and manage key account performance, identifying areas for revenue growth.
-. Lead the implementation of O2O (Online-to-Offline) and BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick-up In Store) strategies to drive omnichannel success.
6. Product Planning and Operations
-. Partnering with Commercial and Marketing team to ensure on time in full product launches
-. Provide feedback to regional Commercial team based on local data on assortment gap to meet local needs and to maximize revenue potential
-. Develop promotional pricing strategies based on competitor analysis and cost structures.
-. Plan and execute seasonal promotions (e.g., year-end sales, Black Friday) to attract consumers and increase sales.
7. Team Leadership and Collaboration
-. Lead teams related to web design & development, and operations, setting goals and conducting regular performance reviews.
-. Work closely with cross functional team such as marketing team, commercial team, trade marketing team, SC team, and IT team to ensure the seamless operation of the online & offline store.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
-. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
-. Minimum 10 years of experience in online marketing or eCommerce, with at least 3 years in a team lead or managerial role.
-. Experience with major online channels (Coupang, Naver, Kakao, 11st etc.) and DTC operation are essential.
