Key Responsibilities 

 

Operation & Business Analytics

 

·       Develop a broad and deep understanding of business plans/ models and key profit drivers and apply that knowledge against actual, forecasted, and budgeted results.  Be able to analyze and explain variance causes and effects, as well as trends.

 

·       Systematically gather data from various sources, sort, categorize, and store it to ensure accuracy and completeness.

 

·       Responsible for POS analytics using syndicated data, consumer trends and customer reporting and develops tools and action plans to capitalize on sales opportunities.

 

·       Support develops gross market value measurements to measure brand penetration by geography and understand key markets/epicenters.

 

·       Support in analyzes, identifies, and pursues areas to drive sales, market share, and generate new business through a consultative sale.

 

·       Supports the Sales team through analysis and insights to aid in planning assortments aligned with category targets and business development.

 

  • Partners with the Sales team to develop strategic sales and promotional opportunities based on market share data, trends, and the markets competitive.

 

  • Increases revenue and profitability and minimizes risk by generating and managing accurate item level demand forecasts.

 

  • Assists in the flow of goods management, working directly with the planning and supply chain teams.

 

  • Builds and maintains great working relationships with the account teams and all cross- functional areas within Stanley.

 

  • Work closely with global, APAC sales, merchandising, Finance and other functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of data-driven decisions.

 

Reporting

 

  • Develops a consistent drumbeat to report sell through data across channels to inform strategic decisions.

 

  • Create intuitive and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards using data visualization tools, aiding team members in better understanding the data.

 

·       Support regular report needs such as QBR, Sell Through report and analysis, POS data, as well the business needs.  

 

  • Other work assigned by superior and company.

 

Skills and Experience: 

 

·       At least 5 years of relevant experience in business operations data analytics.

 

·       Strong logical thinking ability and problem-solving ability, able to independently analyze and solve practical problems.

 

·       Previous experience with research/analysis, buying/replenishment, or customer service within a consumer products.

·       Solution-oriented thinking: Ability to process and reconcile large amounts of data and recognize problems or opportunities based on that date and offer actionable solutions.

 

·       Proficient in Excel, CUBE, SQL, ORACLE and other data analysis tools and development languages, able to efficiently process and analyze data.

 

·       Familiar with data visualization display tools, such as PPT, Power BI, etc.

 

·       Retail & Consumer industry knowledge preferred.

 

Education and Requirements: 

 

·       Bachelor's degree with a preference for statistics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or related fields. 

 

·       Good team-player, Self-Motivation, Communicate and Ownership.

 

·       Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.

 

·       Be flexible and dynamic in a fast-growing company. Comfortable to accept changes and challenges.

 

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a mature and professional image.
