You'll get to sell the experience of Yellowstone National Park to guests! We're seeking an experienced, dynamic Meeting & Event Sales Manager to lead specialty group sales in one of the most breathtaking and historically rich destinations in the world.
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Meeting & event Sales Manager to drive event and group business for Yellowstone through proactive sales, client partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration. This role combines strategic prospecting, account management, and exceptional hospitality to deliver unforgettable group experiences while meeting revenue goals across lodging, dining, and activities.
The Details:
Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay: The salary will be discussed during the interview process
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

This position may be hybrid/remote; however, it could be based out of the Yellowstone Office located in Mammoth Hot Springs, Wyoming or travel will be required on an as needed basis. To be considered for a remote opportunity your primary residence must be located in Montana. The company reserves the right to change the position from remote to in office at any time.

Responsibilities
Proactively secure special group and meeting bookings and event sales that align with revenue targets across lodging, food & beverage, and experiences.
Identify and engage new business through outreach, networking, trade shows, and relationship-building in key markets.
Grow and nurture a portfolio of clients, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Conduct in-person and virtual site tours, host familiarization trips, and act as a trusted adviser from initial inquiry through pre-event planning.
Craft tailored proposals, negotiate with confidence, and finalize contracts that balance client goals with park operational realities.
Partner with internal teams—including lodging, F&B, operations, and conference services—to ensure seamless event execution.
Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and performance metrics using tools like Delphi, Opera, or similar CRM systems.
Represent Yellowstone at national and regional trade shows, client events, and sales missions to build visibility and drive demand.
Extend exceptional customer service, satisfaction, follow-up, and professionalism throughout the customer journey.
Qualifications
5+ years in group sales, hospitality, DMO, or event management—ideally within unique, remote, or multi-property environments.
Equal parts relationship-builder and results-driven closer. You know how to tailor solutions and inspire confidence in your clients.
Familiarity with the meetings, incentives, and events (MICE) market. Experience with national associations, corporate clients, or eco-tourism is a plus.
Proficient in CRM/sales systems (Delphi, iDSS, Opera, Salesforce, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools.
Willing to travel and work non-traditional hours based on client and seasonal needs.
Passion for national parks, sustainable tourism, and authentic guest experiences
Strong industry network and a “hunter” mindset
High attention to detail and organizational strength in a seasonal business model
Collaborative spirit with the ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally
Physical Requirements include:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds.
Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
