As Creative Director for Global Brand, Lifestyle, you will define and evolve Vans’ creative vision across all lifestyle categories and consumer touchpoints.
This role sits within the Global Brand Creative team and is responsible for shaping the brand’s identity and storytelling globally, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance with diverse audiences. You’ll partner with Brand Management, Marketing Operations, Regional Marketing, and Creative Production to deliver integrated campaigns that celebrate Vans’ heritage while driving future-forward lifestyle positioning.
The Creative Director reports directly to the VP, Brand Creative and partners with cross-functional leaders to align creative vision with strategic Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Lifestyle Category Leadership: Define creative direction for lifestyle segments (e.g., skate, surf, music, art, street culture) and ensure alignment with brand values. Cultural Relevance: Identify and integrate emerging trends, cultural movements, and creative collaborations that reinforce Vans’ position as a global lifestyle leader.
Creative Standards: Establish and maintain guidelines for visual identity, tone, and storytelling across all brand touchpoints. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with regional teams to ensure global campaigns translate effectively while maintaining brand integrity.
- Develop and execute a cohesive creative vision for social and digital platforms that aligns with Vans’ brand identity and global marketing Partner with regional marketing teams to adapt global campaigns for local relevance while maintaining brand consistency Manage creation of all social and digital assets (photo, video, motion graphics), ensuring high-quality, on-brand execution across channels Establish guidelines for photography, styling, and visual storytelling specific to social and digital platforms; update annually based on trends and insights Manage Asset Delivery and Workflow.
