About the role

Register and analyze accounting transactions related to Tour Leaders, reconciling credit card balances, payables and Tour Leader invoices among other accounts, assigned month end journal entry posting, completing monthly accounting procedures, investigating account variances and supporting the interim/year-end audit. Working as part of a supportive team, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career with a leading organization.

Responsibilities

  • Register and analyze Tour Leader transactions

  • Reconcile Tour Leader Credit Cards transaction integrations

  • Process Tour Leader invoices

  • Register, analyze and process other accounts.

  • Complete monthly accounting procedures

  • Account reconciliation and investigate account variances

  • Process tour leader related payments

  • Troubleshoot and answer questions from regional managers and tour leaders

Requirements

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accounting Analyst

  • Advanced level of English, oral and written

  • This role is a hybrid role based out of Peru, where a minimum number of days as set by the region, is required in the Lima office.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlines

  • Fast learner and show strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Extremely detail oriented and customer service oriented

  • Good understanding and use of financial and operating systems

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, environment, with strict deadlines

  • Self-motivated and goal oriented

  • Confident, Customer service oriented with a flexible and cooperative approach
