Pay: $19.40/hour

Summary:

This position will create an exciting and informational tour experience that showcases Fiserv Forum as the central hub of Deer District for recreation in Milwaukee, connecting communities, neighborhoods, and generations. The work involves speaking to a variety of groups in a professional, educational, and entertaining manner. It requires an extensive knowledge of The Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum history with a developed understanding of customer service.

 

This role has union representation by MASH. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform public/private tours as needed.
  • Present, entertain, and engage large groups (up to 25 people) of people from all over the world
  • Good time management and a high degree of organizational ability.
  • Solid knowledge of local points of interest around the city along with accurate information about the Fiserv Forum and the Milwaukee Bucks.
  • Monitor the behavior of the group, especially when young children are in it and ensure everyone remains together and in compliance with the rules.
  • Be willing to put own spin on tour points, such as making jokes and providing insightful commentary.
  • Maintain a positive, professional and friendly demeanor at all times.

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to speak in front of diverse groups of people.
  • Highly dependable and reliable at all times.
  • Ability to walk throughout the venue, up and down stairs, uneven surfaces, ramps (Reasonable accommodations will be made in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act).
  • Ability to work in high elevations (all levels of the arena) and enclosed spaces (including elevators).
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience working as a tour guide desired
  • Flexible schedule and the ability to work weekdays, late evenings, weekends.
