Tour Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities: 


The Tour Coordinator actively manages the planning and execution aspects of various group tours, which includes but is not limited to: booking hotel accommodations, attractions, restaurants, airfare, cruises and other trip-related tasks. In addition, the ideal candidate will also be capable of assisting with sales to vendors such as banks, churches, non-profits, etc. This position is on-site Full Time, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:



  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to effectively manage travel details and timelines.

  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to change and think out of the box.

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.

  • Possess a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize projects.

  • Possess a skill set in analytical thinking and creative problem solving.

  • Develop, maintain and manage vendor relationships.

  • Exceptional math skills are required to compute various pricing for tours which involve negotiating rates with vendors.

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, & Outlook).


 


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in the hospitality industry and/or knowledge of the travel industry is preferred.
