Duties And Responsibilities
Perform the duties of Tour Captain, communicating key tour details with campus partners including Housing, Admissions Staff, Visit Staff, Front Desk Student Workers and Summer Tour Guides. Lead Niner Guide operations by recruiting, marketing, training, and scheduling tour guides for Admissions tours and events. Assist with Visit Program operations by receiving incoming phone calls at the front desk and making outbound calls to prospective students. Assist with Undergraduate Admissions by conducting front desk operations- including welcoming guests to the University. Connect visitors with Admissions Counselors utilizing computer software programs such as Slate and NinerQ. Conduct check-in for prospective families visiting the University using Slate. Updates social media outlets such as Instagram so that the volunteer team remains informed about the University. Researches and prepares special projects as assigned. Articulates the value of a UNC Charlotte education in a variety of forums.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday daytime, evening and weekend hours as needed to cover recruitment.
