Job responsibilities:
- Compose and direct compelling, data driven presentations to our Managers and Suppliers
- Assist the Travel Supplier Management team by providing analytical guidance to help drive and/or prioritize strategies; both incremental revenue and risk mitigation in nature
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business objectives into analysis
- Demonstrate, share, and socialize rationale for strategic recommendations
- Stay current with supplier agreements and industry trends
- Assist and collaborate with Supplier Management team to collate travel industry information on an ongoing basis
- Discover insight and value within the data, Design and conduct competitive pricing analysis for loyalty redemption products
- Act as a data and technical expert to support the Supplier Management team in answering questions and inquiries from client and leadership
- Provide recommendations, data analysis, and insights on Supplier revenue impact in response to Product, Finance, Marketing, IT objectives
- Create, manage, and optimize pricing strategies & Display comfortability in wrangling, prepping, and analyzing large data sets
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Completion of an Undergraduate Degree in Business, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to be organized, working on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Comfort communicating and presenting to senior leaders
- Effective analysis and problem-solving skills required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Ability to analyze large datasets and interpret data effectively to provide insight.
- 3 plus years related work experience, preferred in travel
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, especially Excel and Power Point, SQL experience optional, but preferred
