CONTEXT
This Senior Supply Planning role is responsible for maintaining spare parts supply plans for the worldwide business enabling cost effective solutions for minimizing rider down time. This role requires a high level of collaboration and a proactive approach in gathering inputs from cross-functional stakeholders to integrate into supply plans. This individual is expected to understand market service strategies, recognize regional transactional differences, and identify the parts application in our rider support strategies, including NPI and EOL inventory objectives.
HOW YOUβLL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Maintain short, medium, and long-term supply plans to support company goals.
- Plan & manage global inventory of small parts to support after-sales service and warranty with a special focus on rider direct replacement parts sales.
- Own inventory targets and segmentation-based inventory balancing.
- Identify gaps, opportunities, and risks within business planning processes and make recommendations that support functional objectives.
- Help drive informed product lifecycle support decisions for spare parts.
- Serve as a service and warranty reporting, analytics, and KPI subject matter expert for the business.
- Prepare and present supply planning reports to S&OP process.
- Collaborate with the product and supply chain teams to track NPI parts delivery within the parts order readiness process.
- Collaborate with global rider care teams and field quality teams to support rider facing initiatives.
- Support the strategic roadmap for supply planning through cross-functional collaboration, improving processes, implementing advanced forecasting techniques, and integrating new system solutions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in demand planning, financial forecasting, or a similar role.
- Experience in reporting, statistical analytics, and data presentation in combination with the ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and technology.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle and related business intelligence and analytical applications.
- Expertise in BI/Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Expert Excel user, proficient in MS office. Familiar with Atlassian, Confluence and JIRA.
- Experience in programming languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail and an internal drive for accuracy.
- Ability to think creatively and analyze data while facing pressure, ambiguity, and uncertainty.
