The Waldheim Alpine Spa

The Waldheim Alpine Spa at Cradle Mountain Lodge is an exceptional spa facility, surrounded by pristine mountain springs and majestic King Billy pines. It provides an unparalleled nature spa experience that is truly remarkable.

The Day Spa encompasses "The Sanctuary," a private hydro-thermal area with mesmerizing views of the Pencil Pine River. It also includes four spacious treatment rooms, fully equipped change facilities, ample relaxation spaces, and a spa boutique. Every aspect of the spa is designed to showcase the pure and natural beauty of the Tasmanian Highlands.

We're currently seeking an experienced Spa Therapists to join our team.

About the Role

• Embrace and uphold the resort's Spa philosophy.


• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the international Spa industry.


• Demonstrate a thorough product knowledge of Spa methods and services.


• Exhibit sound product knowledge of Spa Retail stock.


• Efficiently manage treatment bookings to maximize revenue and therapists' schedules.


• Actively promote and encourage additional Spa treatments and retail sales.


• Promote the sale of Spa Retail stock.


• Maintain a serene environment both within and outside the Spa.


• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of Spa public areas.


• Prepare baths and other body treatments as required.


• Maintain a visually superior Spa presentation with an eye for detail and beauty.


• Participate in Spa treatment training.


• Commit to personal development to enhance performance.


• Unpack and manage stock and products, including reconciling with invoices and related paperwork.


• Participate in monthly stocktakes.


• Being a remote location, subsidised accommodation and food is available
  

About You

• Hold qualifications in Massage Therapies (minimum of Certificate III in Massage) or Beauty therapy.


• Possess proven work experience as a Spa Therapist.


• Have hands-on experience in massage techniques and face/body therapies.


• Demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills.
