Job Description
Snow King Mountain Resort is looking for Ski Patrollers who are dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of mountain operations in regards to ensuring all guests on the mountain are kept safe.Β The position requires a high level of fitness, expert skiing ability, and first aid training.
Responsibilities (But not limited to)

Promote safety and provide exceptional customer service

Provide emergency care and transport for guests and employees

Contribute to the daily operations of Ski Patrol and the Resort

Perform lift evacuation procedures and other rescue operations
-
Assist in avalanche reduction measures and other snow safety related duties
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-
Must have expert skiing skills and equipment
-
The ability to hike and ski in steep, exposed terrain
-
Strong communication and guest relation skills
-
The ability to work well with others
-
Basic understanding of avalanches and avalanche terrain
-
Basic understanding of ski resort operations
-
Ensure the highest standard of safety is maintained throughout the Resort
-
Demonstrate hazard awareness and the ability to relate it to risk reduction
-
Maintain signage, tower pads, rope lines, and other risk reduction strategies

The ability to follow all procedures set forth by Ski Patrol and Snow King Mountain Resort
