Job Description:

The Senior Travel and Staffing Business Analyst is accountable for supporting strategies to deliver sustainable and cost efficient results across all Travel categories by identifying new opportunities for value and process improvement. This position requires a strong sense of urgency and the ability to succinctly frame issues and alternatives to drive decisions forward. The Senior Travel and Staffing Business Analyst must be a good communicator with a solid understanding of travel technology, change management, and customer service with respect to corporate travel. The Senior Travel and Staffing Business Analyst is also responsible for managing the organization’s temporary staffing function. In this capacity, this role will own the relationship with our staffing agencies and collaborate internally with multiple business units for temporary staffing needs. Up to 20% travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

•    Manages relationship and performance of travel and staffing vendors
•    Develops travel procurement sourcing and contracting strategies to support the Travel and Temporary Staffing Programs
•    Performs complex data analysis to provide sound business recommendations and identify gaps
•    Measures and assesses program performance against negotiated KPIs and industry benchmarks
•    Identifies and implements ways to continually improve and maximize travelers’ experience
•    Works strategically to improve online adoption, processes, efficiencies, and cost savings for the travel program with a
•    focus on continuous improvement and innovation
•    Researches opportunities and develops guidelines for the corporate policy and vendor partners
•    Handles temporary staffing intake requests and onboarding/offboarding activities
•    Oversees and enhances programs and policies for Air, Hotel, Ground Transportation, Rentals, as well as Duty of Care

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in corporate travel management including competitive bidding and negotiation experience
  • Strong corporate travel industry knowledge and trends including understanding of KPI’s and associated metrics required
  • Established industry and/or professional relationships with suppliers and agencies preferred
  • Contract negotiation expertise, including development of negotiation plans and strategies for travel services and suppliers
