Position: Senior Solutions Architect - Applications
Department: IT
Work Location: El Paso, TX, Plano, TX, Arlington, TN, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)
Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.
What you will be doing:
Work primarily with IT Application team to craft, develop, implement, support, and maintain extensions and improvements to our enterprise business applications. The Senior Solution Architect will play a key role in driving the successful implementation and modernization of various enterprise applications, such as Supply Chain Planning solutions and ERP systems. Analyzes business requirements/processes and system integration considerations to resolve appropriate technology solutions. Orchestrates the systems modernization effort and helps analyze various systems modernization initiatives around core enterprise applications ecosystem. Serve as a project coordinator to schedule and delegate tasks required to complete the company's initiatives. Work with other department heads to establish project turning points and complete projects/requests effectively and within the budget. Collaborate closely with business partners, systems implementation teams, and applications teams to understand and translate sophisticated business requirements into effective technology solutions.
Gather and analyze detailed business requirements from partners across various groups.
Develop comprehensive business process models to detail current and future state processes. (AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping).
Find opportunities for process improvement and optimization
Design and document robust application solutions that align with business objectives and technical constraints.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, including developers and functional consultants.
Work closely with project management to coordinate the implementation of various application modernization projects, ensuring alignment to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Assist with handling project resources, including team members, consultants, and vendors.
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues.
Work with business function leaders and applications team to develop a roadmap for ERP and other enterprise technology deployment.
Responsible for maintaining the process maps and system architecture updated with changing business processes and new system functionality.
Use knowledge, technical understanding, and experience to advise on the best, fastest, and within-budget technical architecture to meet end-user requirements and functional specifications.
Ensure consistency on projects and user requests, exceeding specifications and user expectations using balanced and scalable technical software and systems.
Possess a deep understanding of core ERP functionalities in various tracks such as supply chain/planning (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Manufacture) and/or Accounting (Record to Report)
Possess expertise in supply chain management processes.
Provide functional mentorship and support to business users.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Solid grasp of business applications, with proven specific ability to feature/function in at least two tracks: supply chain, planning, manufacturing, accounting, or FP&A.
Ability to translate sophisticated business requirements into technical specifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorβs degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent field.
10 + yearsβ relevant business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience with Oracle ERP solutions, particularly E-Business Suite and Fusion Cloud Applications.
Experience deploying Supply Chain Planning systems such as Demantra, ASCP, o9 systems.
5+ years as a Solution Architect for large-scale, cross-pillar Oracle ERP implementations
Knowledge of integration technologies and cloud platforms.
Experience in process mapping and analysis.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
