Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Business Data & Analytics will play a pivotal role in driving Stanley’s analytics strategy forward, supporting a cross-functional approach to leverage data into decision-making moments for the business. This role will lead our Business Data & Analytics team, partnering with Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and Digital Technology to deliver high-impact insights, drive automation, and elevate our data-driven culture. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Operations & Analytics, this role is instrumental in ensuring our data infrastructure and analytics capabilities support our growth and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy that delivers analytical-based decisions to the leadership team and Brand. Align data gathering and visualization to support Stanely’s strategic priorities, ensuring scalability to support growth initiatives and cross-functional, global needs.
  • Analytics & Insights Delivery: Develop and manage reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders, supporting improved forecasting, sales planning, customer segmentation, and product performance analysis.
  • Data Infrastructure & Governance: Partner with IT to develop and optimize business-centric data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accessibility. Champion data governance best practices to safeguard data quality and compliance.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of business analysts, BI developers, and data gatherers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer-focused analytics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted data partner to Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and Digital Technology, building strong relationships to drive alignment on strategic business initiatives and enhance analytical supported decision-making.
  • Innovation & Automation: Champion the use of advanced analytics and machine learning to identify trends and automate repetitive tasks, improving efficiencies and enabling predictive insights.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Mindset: A foundational ethos that true analytics is more than reporting the news, it creates decisions for action that are supported by data trends and insights. A commitment to creating efficiencies, improving data accessibility, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with data pipeline management, process automation such as Python, statistical analysis, or familiarity with machine learning techniques are all advantageous
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, demonstrated strength in people leadership and team-building skills, and a strategic mindset with a focus on collaborative cross-departmental partnerships.


Education & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or business intelligence, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, directly managing a team. Experience within consumer products, retail, or e-commerce industries preferred.


Compensation

$130,000-150,000 annually

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
