What We Are Looking For
The Senior Coordinator for Outdoor Adventure position in the Department of Campus Recreation is responsible for supporting the mission of the university by providing quality outdoor adventure programming, student leader development, and facility management. The position will focus on assisting with supervision of student workers and programs offered at the McLane Student Life Center Rock Wall, Pullin Family Marina, Eastland Lakes Challenge Course, and through the Student Guide Program.
A Master’s degree and one year of relevant work experience is required. Applicable fields of study: Recreation and Leisure Services, Experiential Education, Business Management, or related degree. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the required degree.
Strong preference will be given to candidates who have industry certifications such as Wilderness First Responder, AMGA Climbing Wall Instructor Provider, Single Pitch Instructor, LNT Master Educator, WEA COE, and ACCT Challenge Course Facilitator Certifications.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
