HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
• Oversee and manage the accounting functions for owned retail operations for South East Asia Markets.
• Reconcile daily owned retail operations sale transactions with various payment gateway platforms and bank.
• Ensure data from POS system are accurately reconcile with ERP system.
• Work closely with owned retail operations teammates to address and resolve any accounting/POS issues and inventory discrepancy that arise during daily operations.
• Responsible for month end close.
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and policies, as well as all relevant laws and tax legislative requirements
• Responsible for preparing withholding tax reporting, audit and tax schedule.
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Process monthly payroll and employee benefits reporting.
• Work with payroll agent for all the necessary payroll reporting and for filing of yearly employee income tax (Form E etc).
• Conduct annual inventory count.
• Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable Credit and collection process including requesting and analyzing financial statements, recommending credit limits and follow up on collecting receivables in a timely way.
• Work closely with market developers and customers for any invoice/collection issue.
• Collaborating with intercompany teammates to manage receipt transactions.
• Handle administration work.
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 7 years of accounting experience
• Experience in GST filing, Withholding Tax filing, Income Tax filing, payroll tax filing
• Experience in Malaysia payroll
• Experience with intercompany transactions
• Experience in retail is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Ability to work under pressure for tight deadlines
• Strong sense of accountability and Meticulous
• Audit experience in Big Four is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Proficient user of Oracle or ERP systems, POS system and MS office
