The Bell Coordinator provides a warm, hospitable greeting and salutation to all guests, realizing that the Guest Services team creates the first and last impressions of the guest experience. Ensures that all resort guests are oriented to the property professionally and offered services in accordance with their needs. Answers the phone in a positive and upbeat manner using phone etiquette in accordance with OVI standards. Directs all requests to the Guest Services team based on the service needs of the resort. Ensures the bell stand is always attended.

Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Ability to provide a high level of verbal and written communication. Ability to work cohesively with other employees as part of a team. Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations. High school graduate. Demonstrate a high level of computer skills. Legal ability to work in the US. Ability to do basic arithmetic.
Essential:
Minimum one (1) year previous experience in a similar position at a Four or Five Diamond Hotel.
Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
Ability to write legibly.
Proven ability to motivate a team.
Experience training staff members.
Clear thinker in pressure situations and exercise good judgments.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Desirable:
College coursework in the hospitality or travel industry.
Previous experience as Bell Captain or Door Attendant at an upscale hotel/resort.

Enforce hotel’s standards, policies and procedures.
Advocate work practices that promote accident prevention.
Properly handle and maintain sensitive and confidential information.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas including Club Car fleet
The pay for this position is $19.90/hour. Plus gratuities.
