THIS IS A SEASONAL JOB THAT STARTS IN MARCH/APRIL OF 2025

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Mixing batched beverages using a shaker, muddler and other bar tools
  • Taking beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail
  • Satisfying guests requests in a timely manner
  • Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations
  • Collecting money for drinks served and providing change as needed out of bank
  • Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all guests
  • Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
  • Cleaning the bar and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
  • Organizing the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
  • Slicing or preparing fruit garnishes for drinks
  • Complying with all food and beverage state and local regulations
  • Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behavior
  • Preparing and infusing batch cocktails at the start of each shift
  • Assisting in taking to-go orders, making change and other aspects involved with handling the micros and cash drawer
