We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team in the beautiful Cayman Islands. As a Reservations Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and enjoyable experiences for our guests by managing reservations and providing exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities:




  1. Reservation Management:



    • Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.

    • Accurately input and manage reservations in the booking system.

    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure special requests and preferences are met.




  2. Customer Service:



    • Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

    • Assist guests with information regarding accommodations, amenities, and local attractions.

    • Ensure a positive guest experience throughout the reservation process.




  3. Communication:



    • Collaborate with the front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

    • Communicate effectively with guests to confirm reservations, provide details, and answer any questions.




  4. Sales and Upselling:



    • Promote additional services and amenities to enhance guests' experiences.

    • Upsell room upgrades and additional packages when appropriate.




  5. Accuracy and Record Keeping:



    • Maintain accurate and organized reservation records.

    • Generate reports and summaries related to reservations for management.




Requirements:



  • Previous experience in a reservations or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in reservation management systems and basic computer applications.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Knowledge of local attractions, services, and amenities is a plus.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in hospitality or a related field is a plus).

  • Proven customer service experience.

  • Multilingual skills may be advantageous.

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a luxury property/hotel
