What contribution will I make to Helen of Troy?

Performs and monitors quality operations and development role in AP to support global quality operations. Works closely with customers, accredited parties for quality procedures management.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Accountable for the effective/efficient operations of the Department (QE, QC) and management of the staff
  • BUs Quality management contacts with suppliers, internal and external customers
  • Develops and monitors the budget Control of Department
  • Drive operation compliance to quality procedure and accredited body of all AP suppliers
  • Develop and retain best staff in the department, arranges training and quality improvement plans
  • Accountable for department KPI [LAR, Incident reduction, Supplier Performance Rating (Quality)]
  • Drive global solution on supplier quality incident
  • Continual process improvements of the department and suppliers
  • Drive Continual improvement of best practice and Cost down program
  • Manage QC out-sourcing services to assure it meet PSI objective and cost effective operation

What are the requirements for consideration?

  • Min. 12 years relevant experience with min 3 / 5 (SNR) years in management role (MNC preferred)
  • Experience in develop strategic supplier base with track record of success
  • Familiar with electrical appliance production and process control
  • Familiar with QMS (ISO9000/ISO13485/QC080000/OHSAS18000/SA8000)
  • Familiar with international and national regulations and directives (Reach, RoHS, SA8000, FDA, Social compliance)
  • Hand on execution of Continual improvement/Best Practice
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Power point)
  • Fluent in English/Chinese (verbal/written)
  • Excellent communication and reporting skill
  • Presentation skill
