Position Overview

Supporting Stanley’s Product Creation and Design organization, we are searching for a Packaging Project Manager is primarily responsible for leading packaging-related initiatives ensuring key deliverables (goals, timing, cost) are met. Stanley packaging should exemplify the essence of the brand and articulate key attributes to provide an efficient purchasing & product experience for our customers. Key partners for this role include the Packaging Graphic and Structure Design Teams, Product Design and Management, Copywriters, Brand Team and third party domestic and international suppliers. Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects related to the creation, commercialization, and execution of packaging
  • Collaborate and facilitate communication between Packaging Graphic and Structure Design Teams, Product Design and Management, Copywriters, Brand Team and third party domestic and international suppliers to meet schedule goals
  • Lead cross-functional communication between project teams and external partners
  • Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, success metrics and desired outcomes of each project with cross functional partners, stakeholders, and suppliers Determine and monitor project schedules, progress, and costs to ensure that results are delivered on time and within budget
  • Represent company with third party vendors and sourcing partners, managing relationships, and ensuring Stanley standards are adhered
  • Assist on ad hoc project management as needed by the broader Brand Design & Packaging Team
  • Identify improvements, define problems, make critical decisions and work with subject matter experts throughout the company to complete projects
  • Manage ambiguity by crafting structure, process, and prioritization across multiple projects
  • Prioritize and effectively communicate complex information clearly and simply to drive actions
  • The ability to give and receive constructive feedback

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management; expertise in creative projects, retail packaging, print production or DTC packaging development preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites, Smartsheet and MS Office Suite
  • Familiar with the use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems preferred
  • A proven track record of using a strategic mindset and strong analytical skills to drive results
  • A passion for brand development and articulating a clear brand story to customers
  • Interest in the beverage and food storage industry

Salary Range:

$100,000-$130,000

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
