Gannett Fleming is seeking an experienced Air Permitting Specialist to execute air quality projects within our expanding Environmental practice. The candidate may be located remotely for this position with the opportunity to help expand our business with the support and resources of our established national practice throughout the U.S. and Canada. Join our Journey!

 

Gannett Fleming’s team of professionals include engineers, scientists, planners, and designers who partner with public and private clients in the manufacturing, transportation, real estate, institutional, and food and beverage industries, as well as federal, state, and local governments.

 

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Providing technical support/expertise on air permitting and compliance projects including PSD and Title V permitting, as well as emissions control and compliance programs;
  • Preparing air quality technical reports, audit reports, deliverables and other documentation, as required.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant existing regulations.
  • Coordinating and executing projects for a variety of private sector clients involving air quality-related environmental compliance services including air permitting, emissions calculations, performing studies and analyses, regulatory research, and compiling and writing reports and other documents.
  • Provide support and inputs to proposals and pursuits, as required.










  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental, Science, or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in air quality analysis and permitting, including PSD and Title V as well as emissions control and compliance programs.
  • Prior experience in the consulting industry is preferred but not required.
  • Valid U.S Driver's license is required for this role.
