Job Title: Product Testing Analyst I – HOKA Footwear

Reports to: Sr. Manager of Product Testing

Location: Portland, OR – Office-Hybrid

The Role

As a Footwear Product Testing Analyst I at HOKA you will be learning and involved in all parts of the product testing process, including tester recruitment, test planning, samples logistics, survey creation/distribution, and report writing.

A Footwear Product Testing Analyst I works closely with the full Product Testing team, and Product Triad teams, learning how the product creation calendar works and how to write informative test reports to contribute to key decisions which result in the continuous improvement of HOKA footwear models.

A solid candidate for this role has a strong work ethic, with a keen eye for detail. This person has a passion for the athlete/consumer and wants to ensure that HOKA footwear exceeds consumer expectation for fit, performance and durability while remaining true to the HOKA spirit.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

Continually recruit a tester database of people local to the Portland, OR office and across the United States that match our end consumers. Learn how the HOKA Product Testing process works and participate in the organization of tests. Learn how to analyze data and write reports that support HOKA product creation. Handle shipping/receiving and storage of test samples. Build relationships with the HOKA Product Development, Product Marketing and Design teams.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • High school degree required.
  • Two or four-year college degree or equivalent, with coursework or experience in research methodology, test design and analysis.
  • Three to five years’ work experience.
  • Experience in the footwear industry is desirable.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Possible sport background and/or sport specialty retail experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic foot anatomy and biomechanics is a plus.
