The Ministry is currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual who is a flexible team player for the position of Park Administrative Representative for Greenwater Lake Provincial Park. Reporting to the Park Administrative Supervisor, this position will be involved in administrative park operations.
This is a seasonal position that usually involves full-time employment from mid-April to mid-October.
GLPP is located approximately 30 minutes north of Kelvington on Highway #38. The park boasts numerous rolling hills and wooded areas and is situated in the boreal forest. It has over 300 individual campsites, group camping, and day use areas as well as Yurts and a Recreation Hall. There are approximately 30 staff at the park during the peak season.
You will perform a variety of office administration duties with the primary responsibility of reconciling all park revenue and accounting for all saleable items. The Park Administrative Representative will also help to supervise the Campground Entry Office, providing accurate and timely information to the public and troubleshooting issues.
You will have knowledge of math and accounting principles and office/administrative procedures, protocols and equipment including computer systems.
This position will be required to work most weekends and may be required to work shift hours and/or be on call. A current and valid driver’s license is required.
