Outside Service - Giants Ridge

Job Summary:

The Outside Services Staff provides golf bag, golf cart, and driving range assistance to guests of the property.

Job Description:

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must by extremely organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Must be highly motivated, goal driven, and a self starter
• Must have good work ethic
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
• Must be dependable
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
• Must have valid driver's license (if driving golf carts or driving range equipment)

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance
• Bringing carts from the cart shelter to cart staging area outside golf shop
• Greet guests at designated bag drop area, loads bags on to carts, and unloads while cleaning clubs
• Gives directions to guests for golf shop, first tee, driving range, etc.
• Transports range balls to driving range and fills appropriate containers
• Operates range picker on range to retrieve balls
• Washes all range balls daily
• Returns carts to cart shelter and washes carts, parks carts in designated spaces and connects charger cables
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

• While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands.
• The employee often is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects.
• The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally.
• The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards. Exposure to pollens and dust
• Noise level is moderately quiet
• Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
• Work weekends and holidays
