Minimum Qualifications
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT : Demonstrated ability to address the essential functions associated with this position, including the knowledge and abilities identified above. In addition, the successful candidate will meet the all following conditions: Minimum age requirement of 21 years of age. Must be able to get to and from program sites via own transportation. Possess enough strength and endurance to maintain constant supervision of students during program hours. Must be able to swim and participate in water-related activities (such as kayaking). Must possess current First Aid/Child CPR certification throughout duration of employment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the University Corporation. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current University Corporation employees who apply for the position. The person holding this position is considered a β€œmandated reporter” under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
