As a Program Facilitator, you will be building lasting friendships, make a difference in kids’ lives, and develop critical and professional skills that will be assets in your future or current career.   • 20-30 hours per week
  • Pay is $14-$15 dependent on experience


POSITION SUMMARY

  • Act as a role model for participants and representatives of the Camp Lincoln community, modeling our Core Values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility.
  • Lead participants ranging in age from 8-16 years of age in a variety of adventure and educational activities including teambuilding, low and high ropes course, boating, target sports, cooking, hiking, orienteering, forest & pond ecology, and more.
  • Facilitate Outdoor Education field trips, teach weekly Homeschool classes, host Family Camp and camp rentals, lead Ski Club trips, facilitate Vacation Camps, and act as mentors for our Leaders Club
  • e activities and games to lead by example for participants through fair dispute resolution, consistent expectations, friendship building, reflective debriefs, and positive reinforcement.
  • Lead and participate in program planning organized by Camp Leadership. Develop and embrace a shared vision to create impactful and intentional programs.
  • Understand, adhere to, and enforce all camp safety rules, child abuse prevention policies, and standards and expectations at all times.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean camp facility, organized and well cared for program supplies, and respect for camp facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers.
  • Attend required abuse risk management training.
  • Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising consumers.
  • Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
  • Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Eager and willing to work with youth aged 8-16 years old.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 or older

Must possess a valid driver’s license

Must have or obtain CPR & First Aid/AED Certification

Must be able to clearly and professionally communicate verbally and in writing in English

Must be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19

Complete New Staff Onboarding tasks within 5 business days of hire

Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
