About the Position: 


The National Sales Manager, Beer/Wine/Spirits + Hospitality is responsible for overseeing current & prospective customers and business channels through email, cold calling, and/or events. The role oversees our growing beer, wine and spirits channels along with the hospitality channel that includes well-known A+ level accounts, requiring white glove account management, along with strategic planning for the entire vertical of business.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Own key tier 1,2 and 3 accounts and work with teams to cultivate tier 4 and 5 customers
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to general incremental sales volume for the assigned customer base
  • Build strong relationships with key retail partners
  • Collaborate with the VP of Global Sales to develop forecasts related to key accounts and specified channel responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Director of Customer Success to implement programs and service tier 4-5 accounts, growing them into larger accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities within MiiR’s core competencies for the assigned customer base.
  • Identify and implement new SKU expansion opportunities
  • Recommend promotional ideas, merchandising opportunities, and new product requests to sales leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Provide relevant customer feedback to sales, marketing and operations teams regarding product reception and new/desired features
  • Ensure preparation and accuracy of all sales orders, working with sales operations to ensure timely delivery
  • Verify new and existing account details with management, including stock levels and credit terms
  • Actively notate within Hubspot ensuring all contacts are up to date, deals are progressing, and all meeting notes are captured
  • Respond to assigned inbound inquiries and guide prospective customers through the onboarding process, from product selection to the closed account stage.
  • Utilize experience with co-branding/brand partnerships and corporate promo channels, where applicable
  • Manage daily customer needs, including customer service requests, re-orders, and other customer needs.
  • Travel to key accounts as necessary
  • Participate in trade shows and assist in coordinating as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in a business development role.
  • Track record of reaching or exceeding monthly/quarterly/yearly activity goals and quotas.
  • Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills.
  • Familiarity with Excel and experience in data analysis and forecasting.
  • Strong CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and ERP (Acumatica, Netsuite, SAP, etc.) knowledge is a bonus.
  • Strong self-starter and team player who aligns with MiiR's values and treats customers with respect, empathy, and integrity.
