Purpose: We are looking for a passionate Product Line Coordinator with an acute attention to detail and interest in product development logistics! This position will support the merchandising team in all facets of the product development cycle, by maintaining the master product line files ensuring accuracy of the data and fine-tuning attributions for clean reporting as well as coordinating samples for Go To Market meetings and in season presentations. The ideal candidate will have a background in product development, top notch organizational and communication skills and at an intermediate level in Excel/ This individual is product obsessed, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with a can-do attitude.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists the Merchandising team with various administrative tasks as required, such as reporting, scheduling and coordination with other departments.
  • Supports the Merchandisers through the product development process, learning all procedures in how we build the line seasonally and prep it for commercialization.
  • Maintains the day-to-day operational aspects of the new product development projects, delivering tasks in a quick and timely manner, participates in GTM process and stays on top of line updates.
  • Attends all calendar meetings to ensure team hits necessary deadlines for GTM milestones.
  • Communicates with other departments to assist in gathering information or troubleshooting issues for the product team.
  • Distribute and maintain all information of assigned category, including Aspire, LAAGs, line lists.
  • Executes Item set up in BBR for all styles, maintaining accuracy of Product Line Plans.
  • Supports Merchandise Manager and/or Merchandiser in preparing for key meetings by gathering data, building presentations and other tasks as assigned. Including weekly selling recaps.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of all category product details.
  • Proofs technical copy for digital and hangtags.
  • Contributes to competitive analysis for division; maintain awareness of trends and competition and apply to Eddie Bauer.
  • Manage all photo and in-line samples.
  • Analyze competition, style counts, color stories, pricing structure. Compiles and communicates findings and opportunities with cross functional partners.
  • Perform such other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a retail support capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, projects, and workload.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Business / retail math skills and understanding
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and contribute.
  • Ability to learn quickly and become knowledgeable of the brand, products, market, channels, and company systems/processes.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with a passion for product development. Preferred interest in the Outdoor Industry
  • Travel may be required, based on business needs.
  • Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings, and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards and Company’s policy.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
  • Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level
    • Ability to carry equipment, move boxes and merchandise samples, etc.

Requirements & EEO Statement

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.
