Responsibilities:
As an intern in our Marketing Department, you will be given specific projects to complete throughout the summer within your department and the results of your projects will have a direct impact on our company. Here’s a sample of some of the recent projects our interns have worked on:
Present customer acquisition tactics research and recommendations
Conduct user experience research and support usability testing
Travel with the Experiential Marketing team to present “Bean Outsider at Work”
Optimize content for our website, catalog, emails, and social posts
Dive into Paid Search and Paid Social program management and analytics
Analyze promotional performance to help inform future promotion plans
Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university degree program; Strong preference will be given to rising Juniors, Seniors, and graduating Seniors
Passion for retail combined with a strong desire to represent the L.L.Bean brand
Strong analytical, research, and demonstrated leadership skills
Flexibility and willingness to work where needed during the internship experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data and presenting findings, Excel and PowerPoint
Curiosity, grit and a growth mindset
