CONTEXT
The planning organization of Specialized is responsible for the development, execution, and monitoring of consensus demand, supply and inventory plans. As a top contributor within the function, you will take the lead in analytics for our worldwide S&OP processes. This role will also aid in the implementation of S&OP process improvements. This position has a centralized focus, and requires a broad-based view of Supply Chain, Sales, Finance and Product initiatives.
HOW YOUβLL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
S&OP analytics:
Develop gap and root cause analyses in support of our worldwide S&OP process
Support data consolidation and analysis of regional inputs, collaborating with various stakeholders to drive actionable insights
Data and KPI management:
Enable and develop consistent S&OP reporting across the company through collaboration with Demand, Supply, Inventory, Finance, Product, and Data teams
Govern planning master data and KPIs, working with Planning Leaders, Product Leadership, and Tech to drive improvements
Build and maintain the analytics strategy and roadmap, working with global technology to prioritize requests and build business cases for investment where needed
Strategy translation:
Partner with leadership in coordination of demand and supply to meet service, financial, and strategic targets
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
Strong proficiency in data analytics and manipulation of large inventory data sets, and the ability to convert them into clear business information
Experience in S&OP on global scale, familiarity with projection, analysis and reporting of financial impacts
Expertise in data, analytics, and visualization tools (Tableau, Excel, Alteryx, etc.)
Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influence various stakeholders in matrix structure without direct authority, coordinate multiple regional teams
Strong orientation towards strategic business objectives and incorporation of best practices, challenging the status quo, and driving continuous improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelorβs Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, or related field
5-8 years of experience in a Supply Chain function that includes demand, supply and/or inventory planning
