The Wilderness Resort is seeking hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, customer service driven individuals to join our fast-paced team! Employees have access to great benefits, amenity usage, and so much more!
The House Attendant Driver position is responsible for transporting clean and dirty linen and supplies; removing all dirty linen and towels from the units; and disposing of trash by performing the following duties.
*Must have a Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (or ability to obtain one) and an acceptable driving record*
This is a part- or full-time position with day, night and weekend availability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assesses quantities of stock in laundry upon arrival. Communicates needed inventory to management.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with guests/housekeeping staff when using radio and in-person communication.
- Drives in a safe manner (at posted speeds) while driving any Wilderness Resort company vehicle.
- Reports any Wilderness Resort company vehicle issues promptly in an effort to maintain the integrity and performance of Wilderness Resort company vehicles.
- Assists Room attendant - Outside: including stripping room linen and removing trash. Provides clean linens.
- Transports dirty linen from departed outside units, transports to laundry department.
- Transports clean bath and bed linen from laundry to units/housekeepers.
- Keeps vans/cube trucks clean, free of trash, and organized at all times.
- Delivers irons, ironing boards, rollaways, cribs, etc. to guest room upon request.
- Picks up and returns to warehouse any previously used guest requests found in rooms.
- Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safety data sheets.
- Follows procedures concerning protection against blood borne pathogens.
- Practices safety procedures, including bending, lifting, and safe use of equipment.
- Reports hazardous conditions in work area or equipment to management.
- Upon discovering any damage to property in Condo's/Villa's/Cabin's, immediately communicates to Housekeeping Management.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
