Natural Habitat Adventures (Nat Hab), a nature-focused global adventure travel company based in Boulder, Colorado, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team. The desired candidate will be a talented, passionate and detail-oriented designer with demonstrated photo editing skills who takes responsibility for building and reinforcing the Nat Hab brand across all marketing channels. This individual will support the Creative Director in producing creative content for our direct mail, catalog, gear, website, email, and other marketing channels. The Graphic Designer will work closely with multiple colleagues in marketing, operations, and other departments on our team-based projects.  Join a group of motivated adventure travel professionals with this unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing conservation travel company.


This job listing is for a full-time, in-office position in our Louisville, Colorado home office. We are in search of a talented, passionate graphic designer and asset editor with a broad skill set. Working closely with senior creative staff, this position will be producing visually compelling materials across our print and digital marketing channels. The candidate must be very organized, able to juggle many simultaneous projects, have a keen eye for small details, and enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment with many opinions to balance. RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Design marketing collateral from concept to production in both print and digital media. Common projects include designing brochures, mailers, advertisements and branded materials for our field operations.

  • In partnership with our Digital Asset Manager, create new and manage existing digital assets, including photography, video, typography, logos and icons. Common tasks include enhancing and manipulating images; creating custom collections, illustrations; and managing digital assets in our Digital Asset Management system.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to solve problems through stunning design.

  • Effectively present ideas and design rationale while remaining receptive to creative direction and design feedback.



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Creative thinker- We are looking for a self-motivated, go-getter that enjoys solving presentation challenges through creative design solutions, always thinking about appropriate considerations, opportunities, and tactics to enable the highest quality products.

  • Possess exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-driven and team oriented. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with high levels of integrity, maturity and enthusiasm.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • 5+ years graphic design experience in a business setting with a track record of delivering results is preferred.

  • Beautiful portfolio of compelling work that demonstrates a passion for creative design.

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Bridge and Acrobat.

  • Experience with Asana project management is a plus.

  • Highly proficient in Content Management Systems.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and website content management systems.

  • Photography and videography skills are a plus.

  • A passion for travel, nature, wildlife or related fields is a plus.

  • University degree in Design, Advertising, Photography or a related field preferred.



COMPENSATION


Salary Range: $ 65,000-70,000 plus annual bonus. Compensation commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, exempt position.

WORKING HOURS


Our company hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM MT. We also open on Saturdays from 8 AM to 3 PM for select members of our guest-facing teams. Additional hours may be required to meet your goals as needed.




TRAVEL


This position requires attendance in the office at least two days per week.


 


Our company also hosts two mandatory all-staff weeks each year: one in April (Springfest) and another in early December (Winterfest). Attendance from all employees is required.
