About GroundTruth:


GroundTruth Group of Companies provides mineral exploration services in multiple regions across Canada and USA with possible future growth into Mexico. Trademarked as “Drones to Drills”, Ground Truth’s innovation and expertise is quickly putting us on the mark to be leaders in our industry, as one of few - full exploration services provider. Our services range from staking, soil sampling, IP resistivity surveying techniques, to environmentally responsible drilling.






We are looking for great people to join our Exploration Field and Drilling Crews in this upcoming 2023 season for the following positions:





  • Exploration Field Technicians

  • Geological Technicians

  • Drill Sampling Technicians

  • Drilling Staff






Individuals who have been successful in our field-based roles include: 





  • Physically active outdoor enthusiasts who are wilderness savvy (Wilderness First Aid Certification has proven to be a strong asset)

  • First Aid certified individuals - level C & AED  *This is a requirement

  • Individuals who bring strong outdoors experience and skills (i.e. Bear Aware, backwoods camping, handheld Garmin GPS navigation).

  • Physically fit persons, who are able to lift and carry 70+ lbs backpacks across mountainous terrain

Working conditions:


 


A typical field season runs from mid-May to late October. Work days are 12-hour shifts that run 7 days a
week for the duration of the project unless otherwise stated. Shifts are typically 28 days on and 10 days
off, however, changes happen frequently depending on contracts and logistical considerations.




The project location may be reached by a variety of transportation methods such as; truck, helicopter,
boat, fixed-wing aircraft or all-terrain vehicles. Every camp will be provided with a wall tent or tents of
similar structure depending on location, satellite internet and all other camp elements. Employees will
be working and living in close quarters with the rest of their crew for the duration of the project.
Extreme isolation in a wilderness setting is one of the perks of the job but is also one of the factors that
increases the risks with this type of work. Wildlife is plentiful, including bears and moose.


 


Compensation:




GroundTruth offers competitive market wages to their staff.  Hourly pay rate will depend on level of experience and position.  Wage expectations and salary ranges will be discussed during the interview process.
