Overview

This role is based in Las Vegas, NV, and legal ability to work in the United States is required. This wage for this position is $16ph, and a full breakdown of benefits and perks will be provided during the interview process.

As a Food & Beverage Attendant (Bartender), you will be supporting the fun, engaging, efficient and safe service of guests through the attraction.  You will have engaging interactions with our guests by bringing your best and anticipating guests’ needs while following FlyOver standards and operating procedures. The Food & Beverage Attendants should always strive to represent FlyOver Las Vegas as well as maintain a positive attitude and a safe environment for all guest and team members.

What will you do in this job?

Reporting to the Guest Experience Supervisors, your duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting guests and answering questions in a welcoming and positive manner.
  • Ensure cleanliness and presentability, pay close attention to detail. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are constantly followed including opening and closing checklists. Communicate operational inefficiencies and propose new ways.
  • Monitor preparation methods of both food and beverage, portion sizes, and presentation in order to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain excellent product and quality standards.
  • Comply with all Nevada Health and Safety regulations as well as responsible service of alcohol.
  • Ensure accurate information is provided to guests; ensure guest expectations in terms of experience, price, restrictions and content.
  • Cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Lead by example to ensure FlyOver Las Vegas operating procedures, safety of guests and team members, and service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Assist with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency.
  • Share knowledge with guests about Las Vegas and other tourist attractions around the venue.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Demonstrate accurate cash handling skills in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Ability to problem solve
  • High attention to detail
  • Internally motivated with a consistently high level of energy
  • Being up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices.
  • Team oriented and highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills. A true people person.
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of a strong culture.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and Holidays
  • Be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to lift loads of up to 30 pounds as necessary
  • Extensive knowledge about Las Vegas and local area an asset
  • Experience in the tourism/hospitality industry an asset
  • Cash handling experience an asset
  • Fluency in a second language in addition to English is an asset
  • Current certifications for food handling & alcoholic beverage service
