Roles and Responsibilities



  • Ensures proper travel guidelines are being followed by maintaining knowledge of all Federal, GSA and State Department and mission specific travel regulations and allowances.

  • Conduct technical review of travel authorizations and vouchers to ensure compliance with agency’s travel policies and regulations, as well as overall document accuracy.

  • Monitor E2 Pending Review queue to ensure travel documents are processed in a timely manner to avoid missed ticketing.

  • E2 Solutions subject matter expert:

  • Assist travelers with site navigation and usage. Train inexperienced users on E2 Solutions.

  • Provide users with best practices within E2 Solutions.

  • Provide user support on E2 Solutions questions regarding the preparation, review and submission of travel authorizations and vouchers.

  • Review interface issues between E2 Solutions and financial system, i.e. voucher rejections and make appropriate adjustments as necessary.

  • Manage E2 Solutions approval routing configurations.

  • Intermediate to expert user of E2 Solutions reports to analyze travel data.

  • Assist with the tracking and recovery of outstanding travel advances and monitoring travel voucher reimbursements. Report regularly to the Management to ensure all travel reimbursements are made in a timely manner to ensure that problems are resolved with minimal delay. Maintain office travel budget and provide various activity and budget reports to Management.

  • Consolidate and analyze travel data.

  • Maintain office travel budget and projected travel spreadsheet and provide travel report updates as requested.


Basic Qualifications:


4+ years of experience with following: -



  • E2 Solutions Travel (GeT) or other government ETS2 system

  • Secret Clearance or higher.

  • Concur Travel Solutions

  • Education Required:

  • BS/BA in related field

  • Other Skills: -

  • Proven ability to cope with and perform effectively in a demanding environment, giving close attention to detail and accuracy, while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated problem solving, organizational and time management skills.

  • Experience in a federal government agency, community-based organization, or customer service setting.

  • Sound research and analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems and formulate solutions; appropriate to current policy and communication strategies.

  • Evidence of superb written and oral communication skills; comfortable speaking with executive management.

  • Proven ability to plan and coordinate projects as well as efficiently use work-related Federal Government and Bureau resources.

  • Travel industry experience preferred (i.e. understanding of airline routes and basic rules).

This position is remote hybrid. Some onsite work is required approximately 2-3 times a week and candidate must be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.

  • E2 CWT Sato Travel: 3 years (Preferred)

  • SAP Concur Travel: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Travel Authorizations: 3 years (Required)

  • Processing Travel Vouchers: 3 years (Required)

  • Federal Travel Policy (GSA, DoS, etc): 3 years (Required)


License/Certification:



  • DoD Secret Clearance or higher (Required)

  • US Citizenship (Required)
