Salary Range:  $115,000 - $135,000 per year 

 

 

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking an Executive Director committed to reducing adolescent anxiety, depression and suicide to oversee our new Intensive Outpatient/Partial Care clinic in Livingston, NJ.

 

Embark operates facilities across the US that support adolescents, young adults and their families by offering a full continuum of care from Long Term Residential and Wilderness Therapy environments to our IOP/PHP clinics to virtual outpatient care. Our local IOP/Partial Care clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance.

 

As an Executive Director, you will be supported by an experienced Leadership Team, a Clinical Director and Administrative Team that are all focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families.

Responsibilities






Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the IOP/Partial Care clinic, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction to the clinical and administrative teams.

Program Oversight:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Implement and monitor evidence-based practices to enhance program effectiveness and client outcomes.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the clinic's budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimal resource allocation.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-effective measures.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics and outcomes, making data-driven decisions to enhance program effectiveness.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Encourage a culture of innovation within the clinic, staying abreast of industry trends and introducing new approaches to treatment modalities and services.
  • Continuously assess and improve clinic operations and services.








Qualifications






Strong preference for NJ-licensed clinician (LMFT/LCSW/LPC) or out-of-state licensed clinician with strong leadership experience.

Can be healthcare GM/Operator (ideally multi-site)

Experience managing a large interdisciplinary team.

 

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences, but Masters in Social Work (MSW), Clinical Social Work (CSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline preferred.

  • A desire to facilitate staff and client growth through a team approach.
  • Preferred - Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in mental health field.
  • Preferred - Two years of experience in a clinic/outpatient setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
  • Experience recruiting and developing staff.
  • Ability to pass a state background check.
