What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an Environmental Scientist, Engineer, or Geologist who is proactive in problem-solving and eager to enhance their technical expertise. The ideal candidate will contribute to various site investigations and assessments under the mentorship of project managers and senior staff, with aspirations to eventually lead teams.

What You Will Be Doing:  

  • Assist in tasks to support Phase I/II environmental site assessments.
  • Execute work plans.
  • Project coordination.
  • Conduct site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, biota, indoor air, soil gas, and drinking water).
  • Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports. 
  • Perform oversight of drilling and remediation subcontractors. 
  • Provide data compilation, database management, statistical evaluation, and modeling.
  • Prepare technical reports.

Preferred: 

  • Geologist-in-Training or Engineer-in-Training certification.

Qualifications: 

  • BS in Geology, Engineering, or a related environmental science field.
  • 2 to 5 years of environmental field experience
  • Strong desire to become a registered Professional Geologist/Engineer.
  • Communication, written and verbal, is critical to success.
  • Candidate must acquire a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification within the first 30 days of employment.
  • The ability to travel occasionally overnight.
