Position: EDI Coordinator II

Department: IT

Work Location: El Paso, TX, Plano, TX, Arlington, TN, Boston, MA, Marlborough, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.

What you will be doing:

Serves as lead for all communication between internal users, external trading partners, and external EDI network providers. Responsible for sophisticated troubleshooting with new and existing trading partners to tackle communication issues. Sets-up new trading partners, tests new and existing trading partner data maps, supervises communication system status, tests procedures during EDI application software upgrades, and maintains the EDI procedures. Assists the department from home bringing up the EDI server, fixing communication issues, and advising the EDI team of their status and calling them out, as needed.

  • Demonstrates a balanced EDI knowledge and standard processes to develop EDI Processes with full use of Gentran Server for Windows.
  • Full Cycle EDI testing of Installed Interfaces within EDI and Oracle Applications ERP systems.
  • Coordinate and install electronic transaction interfaces with customers, suppliers and 3rd party business partners.
  • Monitoring of newly installed EDI processes.
  • Timely completion of tasks withing the development Windows defined. Optimally complete testing on new process.
  • Issue free EDI processes after Go Live. Hands off process with monitoring during Go Live window.
  • Lead all aspects of Lansa Integrator AS2, and data flow and respond to interruptions.
  • Leverage knowledge of AS2, VAN and SFTP communication channels to Supervise EDI communication system and data flows and to fix and maintain systems.
  • Work with trading partners to coordinate and implement new setups. Maintain a balanced uptime for systems.
  • Successful and trouble-free Data transmissions. Identifying and resolving transactional issues.
  • Manage and handle Internal and External Customer emails. Customer Happiness proven by low complete rates.
  • Analysis of exception handling alerts for all areas of the EDI Process including. communications server, core EDI server and oracle applications.
  • Re-processing as vital to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Trouble free fixes resolved with Maximum uptime. Excellent documentation of all issues. Assists's manager on new projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related profession/field
  • 4+ years in EDI experience working within a Gentran Server environment
  • Experience with AS2, VAN, FTP communication topics
  • Must be able to work from home or off site as needed
  • Must be available to work in a rotation, with other team members, to handle off hours
  • β€œOn Call” duties.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with SQL queries via TOAD a plus
  • Familiar with Oracle Application a plus.
