Position Summary

EagleRider is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Pricing and Fleet Management to lead the strategic oversight of our motorcycle fleet, pricing optimization, and logistics operations. This role is responsible for managing a team of hourly drivers, optimizing fleet allocation, overseeing pricing strategy across multiple locations, and ensuring efficient third-party logistics (3PL) operations. This position requires a proactive, data-driven approach to meet company goals and maximize profitability across our locations. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily fleet operations, including the timely de-fleeting of motorcycles as needed to balance inventory maximize sales outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a team of hourly drivers responsible for motorcycle movement between locations.
  • Monitor fleet condition, ensuring vehicles are in optimal working order and efficiently distributed according to demand forecasts.
  • Set up processes to turn off reservations by individual locations when capacity is reached or during maintenance windows.
  • Develop and implement a pricing strategy by individual location to maximize revenue while meeting customer demand.
  • Conduct systematic pricing reviews and execute price adjustments by location based on seasonality, demand, and competitor pricing.
  • Coordinate with regional managers to review and authorize location-based price increases to achieve revenue targets.
  • Oversee and coordinate 3PL semi-truck movements for intercity transportation of motorcycles, including scheduling and cost management.
  • Track 3PL carrier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and timely transportation solutions.
  • Assess and monitor inventory across locations to make data-driven adjustments to the fleet, including managing location-specific reservations.
  • Implement demand-based strategies to turn reservations on and off at each location based on availability.
  • Utilize data analytics to evaluate fleet utilization, rental trends, pricing effectiveness, and logistics performance.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management, detailing insights, and recommendations to optimize operations and increase revenue opportunities.
  • Travel to Los Angeles once a month to evaluate fleet and operational performance, inspect regional facilities, and meet with local teams.

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in fleet management, pricing strategy, or logistics, preferably in a multi-location or rental business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive strategy.
  • Leadership experience in managing drivers or similar hourly teams.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in pricing and fleet management software, with the ability to learn new systems as needed.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, as needed for each 
  • Pass pre-employment and random substance abuse screenings
