Key Responsibilities:
Merchandizing Management
· Supports the annual revenue game plan and regional brand budget process.
· Develops and delivers differentiated regional product assortments.
· Aligns planning process with product team, sales team, marketing team, supply chain team and customer planning calendars.
· Collaborate with product team, sales team, marketing team regarding customer specific planning, strategy, content, and analytics.
· Understands brand, regional and channel priorities and uses the planning process to drive strategic alignment.
· Pulls together resources across marketing, consumer insight and operations needed to improve the profitable growth.
· Aids in the recommendation of SKU assortment priorities, financial guidelines and synergies across channels, customers and brands within area of responsibility.
· Leverages growth driving execution including category management, assortment concept and shopper marketing to deliver comprehensive category growth plans for channels & markets.
· Compiles and analyzes market, shopper / end-user, and channel knowledge gaps.
· Compiles profiles of competitors and channel customers using primary and secondary research and data.
· Gathers competitive and marketplace intelligence and shares with the regional team & organization.
· Collaborates and summarizes business risks and opportunities cross-functionally.
· Plans operational strategies that increase revenue, identify changes, adjust, and redraft strategic plans as necessary.
· Recommends any new product innovation needs to penetrate new channels/customers.
· Pricing and Program Guidance.
· Collects and analyzes account pricing and distribution for Stanley and competitive brands.
· Understands retailer & distributor margin and pricing expectations.
· Analyzes and track potential impact of pricing exceptions on channel / region.
Sales Development
· Develops a consistent drumbeat to report sell through data across channels to the organization to inform strategic decisions.
· Develops demand planning & forecast analysis.
· Responsible for sales analytics using available syndicated data, DTC & Distributor and customer reporting to create action plans and capitalize on sales opportunities.
· Uses a formula to develop gross market value measurements to measure brand penetration by geography and understand key markets/epicenters.
· Manages data tools and has direct connection to account teams reporting contacts.
· Development and maintenance of robust sales report to lead data-driven decision making.
· Establishes short-term and long-term prioritization roadmap of the business’s overall analytical needs and opportunities.
· Establishes KPIs and metrics to track commercial performance across the APAC region. Monitor performance against targets, analyze key performance drivers, and provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
New Product Launches
· Serves as Channel/sales voice on the development of launch strategy.
· Serves as customer voice in product development meetings.
· Works with Product development team to complete forecast tools.
· Participates in the development of new item launch and training materials.
· Creates customer and category selling solutions for our customers.
Leadership
· Build and lead a high-performing commercial team. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to enable them to achieve their goals and maximize their potential. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
