Collette is seeking a DevOps Engineering Intern to join our growing Technology Team. This is a hybrid role based at our headquarters in Pawtucket, RI for 40 hours per week.

Job Summary: 

Join us at Collette as a DevOps Engineering Intern and be a part of our exciting journey as we transition from a monolithic application stack to a cutting-edge, distributed, microservice-based architecture. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in modern DevOps practices and cloud technologies. You will work closely with our growing and experienced DevOps team to develop, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems. Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Basic understanding of DevOps principles and practices. 
  • Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, Java, Go, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). 
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible). 
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Datadog, Prometheus).
