What you will be doing:

As the Data Entry Clerk, you would assist in accurately processing incoming requests for inventory item set-up and changes. Complete data entry properly, accurately, and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service to all our Business Units.

  • Manages and maintains requests of new items set-ups, item changes, item updates/revisions using Item Master (IM) and email

  • Setup new items and/or maintain existing items with updates as requested

  • Submits request via an Oracle Item Master (OIM) form to address item status, questions and other concerns related to IM data entry

  • Conduct a pre-audit of all Pre-PIM forms to ensure that all information has been provided to set up items

  • Conducts email routing process for requests of new item set-ups and item changes to ensure that all sections of the forms are completed accurately by the appropriate departments.

  • Inputs all information provided on the Pre-PIM forms into Oracle for the generation of new items and applies any organization specific rules as needed.

  • Enters item dimension information, as provided and routes for review and approval as needed.

  • Receives request via email to make changes, revisions, and/or updates to existing items. The Item Master Clerk routes requests to appropriate channels for review and approval. Updates item information in Oracle if approval is not needed.

  • Must review, research, accurate item set-ups, file daily alerts electronically

Skills needed to be successful:

  • Excellent oral and written English communications skills, in addition to, good analytical, customer service, multi-tasking, problem solving, partnership, and digital literacy.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Self-motivated and team oriented

Minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years Data Entry experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly: EXCEL

  • Filing, Data Entry, document control and copying experience

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Oracle
