Summary of the role:

Are you the next Data Anayst - QA we are looking for?

• You will be a key member for the delivery of the R&D deliverables for BI roadmap (primarily Rate shopping).
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting and performing data quality checks across all data assets within BI (primarily Rate shopping).
• You will include data scrapes, API, ETL jobs, reports, dashboards and data pipelines.
• You will ensure high quality in all BI products (primarily Rate shopping) and in data delivered to internal stakeholders and customers.

In this role you’ll:

• Have firm understanding of data warehouse and database concepts
• Have skills with SQL queries, stored procedures, and test scripting to delete, define, load, and merge data for tests
• Have abilities to develop strategies, test plans and test cases specific to data quality and governance.
• Have abilities to create effective ETL, scraping, API driven test cases and scenarios based on different technology and business requirements
• Have skills for implementation of automated testing for processes
• Apache Airflow or any other data orchestration systems
• Docker/K8s/Helm/Kafka. GIT. 
• Working experience on CI/CD.
• Experience in Data warehousing using modern standards (dimensional modeling, working knowledge of multiple types of DBs including RDBMS, Columnar, NoSQL, etc. would be beneficial). Druid preferred.
• Strong communication skills of data concepts and mapping to product needs with limited supervision                 

About the ideal candidate:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant Work Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Data Analyst/Data QA
• Business Understanding: Knowledge of travel industry and hotel in particular is a plus
• Skills:
• Computing: SQL, API Testing
• Language: English
• Specific Knowledge: Data Quality and Governance skills; Regression testing skills;
• Other: Good to have experience with Python, Multiple Database Systems, scripting languages in a linux environment
