We are seeking passionate applicants to fill the position of Ski Instructor to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons for the 2014-2015 Winter Season!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Everyone remembers their first time skiing or snowboarding!  Our instructors should be:

  • a part of a great memory our guests will never forget. 
  • Create a safe and fun learning environment for your students while teaching them a sport you love! 
  • Encourage student enthusiasm for skiing, the learning process, and the further development of good skiing / snowboarding skills
  • As a part of the student’s lesson experience, instructors are also expected to assist with other duties, including but not limited to: check in, kids’ program lunch, preparation of beginner areas. 
  • Instructors must also take part in training clinics and be knowledgeable about lift use and resort information.
     

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Is energetic and excited to teach people a sport they love.
  • Is able to work outside during all weather conditions, and patience is a must!  
  • Delivers superior service while sharing your passion and creating the next generation of skiers. 
  • Comes to work every day with a can do attitude! 
  • Is able to take initiative, is highly organized, and effectively communicate with and manage groups of all ages and abilities.
  • Is a good role model, has high integrity, and is adaptable.
  • Has strong intermediate skiing / snowboarding ability combined with the willingness and demonstrated aptitude to learn ski / snowboard instructing.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Confident Intermediate to Advanced Skier or Snowboarder
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • PSIA OR AASI Certification, or equivalent international certification.
  • Previous Experience teaching skiing or snowboarding
