Pay: $425/week
Do you want to spend a paid summer in Alaska? Join us at Camp K for fun at one of Alaska's most beautiful sleep away camps in Cooper Landing. Just two hours South of Anchorage, our camp is located on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula. No outdoor experience is required, just a love for camp! If you want to build an inclusive and loving community at our camp, this is a perfect job for you! Housing and meals are included for the entire season.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lifeguard Counselor will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision and guidance of a cabin group of campers, working with other counselors to facilitate a variety of activities. During waterfront activities, the Lifeguard will participate in leading, teaching, assisting, supervising staff and campers during swimming and boating lessons along with other camp activities. The Camp K Counselor Lifeguard resides with campers on the premises of Camp K in the Chugach National Forest for weekly sessions during the summer season and engage in work that supports Camp Fire’s Promise to provide youth with the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice and discover who they are.
